The irony was that I could buy the 4 tires cheaper than if I used the “deal.” I didn’t want or need the super-duper alignment, which was way overpriced.

Re: Big O Tires Ripoff: Another Example Why Consumers Hate the Corporations

Was the different price for the same tire (same brand) or just same size?

Re: Big O Tires Ripoff: Another Example Why Consumers Hate the Corporations

Great article, I'll never trade with those A=Holes!!!

Re: Detroit in ruins: the photographs of Yves Marchand and Romain Meffre | feature

It's absolutely amazing. This, apparently, pro-socialist (euro-socialist) blogger implies this is what happens to American "Capitalism". Talk about 180% out of phase! This is what happens to American capitalism when it is infected with extortionist unions and massive government taxation and regulation!!!! "Why then (a socialist, historically challenged mind may ask), do we not see this kind of destruction in Europe with all its 'socialist' control?" Answer: because most of old European capitalism was leveled 70 years ago during WWII and then was reconstructed by the hundreds of billions of dollars (trillions in today's terms) of the "Marshall Plan". Europe functions still, under the economic structure of American capitalism supporting its socialist governments and most of those countries are free from massive military spending due to the protection of American military spending. Without what's left of American capitalism, European socialism would be a basket case bankrupt system...as we are beginning to notice with capitalism here dying a slow death!

Re: Better Wash Those Reusable Bags

Though the ideas seem valid the reality is that you are more likely to get sick off a toilet on an airplane or a handrail in the mall. Common sense and periodic cleaning of your bags will eliminate all germs and leave you feeling great about your health and the environment!
Thanks!

Douglas
http://reusethisbag.com

Re: Better Wash Those Reusable Bags

I think it is a great set of ideas you are conveying through your blog.
